I started my bike industry career building a Schwinn Stingray from the frame up as a BMX with my dad in the 1970s. Since then I have worked as a bicycle messenger in New York City and San Francisco, a freelance bike mechanic, a shop mechanic in Moab, UT, and went on to be a manager at Poison Spider Bicycles.
After a one year stint at Timbuk2 Designs selling messenger bags, I came to work as the general manager at Absolute Bikes in 1999. I have also worked over those years on behalf of bicycle advocacy as a board member of Flag Velo Inc./ Flagstaff Biking Organization helping to coordinate Flagstaff Bike to Work and School Week, Trail Days, the management of the Fort Tuthill Bike Park construction, and many other efforts. As part of my role here at Absolute Bikes, I also coordinate charity bicycle events like the Taylor House Ride, the Old Fashioned Mountain Bike Race and the Flagstaff Enduro with various community partners.
I am dedicated to making sure we do the best job we can at Absolute Bikes to provide a great cycling experience for all of our customers and the communities of Flagstaff and Sedona.
