Very important ballot propositions on the ballot for the November elections! There are two propositions, Question 403, (Coconino County) and Proposition 406, (City of Flagstaff) that will help to provide funding for road and street maintenance and improvements by enacting a slight increase to the local sales tax.  We support the passage of both of these as they will help make our local roads safer and better for cyclists! Click these links for more info:

AZ Cross in Flagstaff! Saturday, October 25th, Ft. Tuthill. We are helping to support Flagstaff’s only cyclocross event! Part of the AZ Cross Series. Come on out and race or cheer on your friends! See here for details…http://azcross.com/

The Mountain Bike Assoc. of AZ needs volunteers for the Tour de Fat in Tempe! The Tour de Fat is returning to Tempe on October 4. This event helps support 3 local non-profits – MBAA, Bike Saviours and Tempe Bicycle Action Group. Without the TdF, the MBAA may have faded years ago and certainly grants would not be possible to impact the local trails, including trails like Little Bear and Lower Moto in Flagstaff. Volunteers needed – they will get a tee, 2 free beers (if over 21) and good times sign up here ASAP and indicate association with MBAA. Click here to sign up to volunteer: http://docs.google.com/forms/d/1KXEq_Sx-qrTkSCJadVczRov_lWz7bLGDRP7f2H_u6o4/viewform
