Proper fit is just as important as a well adjusted, well-speced bike.

At Absolute Bikes, we are proud to have Certified Retül Fit Technicians. We are the only bike shop in Northern Arizona to offer Retül Fits, which incorporates several functional and structural evaluations of the cyclist’s body. These evaluations are applied to the rider while on the bike to make them both more comfortable, more efficient, and injury-free.

Even though the top professional cycling teams in the world use the Retül Fit system, anyone can benefit from a Retül Fit. The most casual rider can be more comfortable and get rid of those numb hands or achy knees.

Retül Fit

We’re proud to offer Retül Fit, one of the most technically advanced bike fitting systems available today. Retül Fit is more than just a bike fit–it’s a way to learn about your body. Learn the root cause of your aches and pains, and how a proper fit will help you achieve your cycling goals while alleviating those pain points.

Retül uses motion capture technology to accurately measure every movement within a millimeter. With this data, our certified fit specialists will adjust your current bike or help you find a new one. This attention to detail will give you a truly personal experience.

Bike Fit Options

We offer the following services that include your essential sizing points on a bike like saddle height and saddle position fore and aft up to our Dynamic Suspension Tuning package where one of our trained suspension technicians will go ride a trail with you and really dial in your suspension to your riding style.

Our Retül Fit option is currently evolving to adapt to the needs of our customers and will be available soon. Please email bikefits@absolutebikes.net for more details. A full, comprehensive Retül Fit is approximately a three-to-four-hour process and cost $400 when we are able to schedule these in the future.

Essential Sizing

$50-75

We will look at the essential points on the bike and adjust them to your riding style and particular needs. This will consist of adjusting the height of your saddle for proper leg extension, fore-aft alignment and stems if needed for a better fit.

Advanced sizing

$150

1 Hour

You will get the same expertise as a full Retül Fit, except for us using static measurements as opposed to the 3D Fit system. This is perfect for those with budget constraints or if using platform pedals. We will look at everything in the Essentials Package plus looking at handlebars, suspension and other potential concerns. There may be additional costs for excessive adjustments due to complicated bike setups.

SUSPENSION Starting point

1/4 Hour

One of our trained staff members will help set initial sag, rebound and compression settings on your bike. We can also offer suggestions if you experiencing a particular issue.

Annual Fit

$150

1.5 Hours

This package is for individuals who have had the full Retül Fit done within the last year and may just need to be readjusted. The body changes and your bike should change with you

Fit - Road

$400

4 Hours

This package is meant for anyone that are looking to be more comfortable on your ride, adjust your bike around physical limitations or if you are just looking for a competitive edge for racing. We will use the Retüul 3D Vantage Fit System to get a real time look at what your body is doing while you pedal and how to get you into your best most efficient riding position. There may be additional costs for excessive adjustments due to complicated bike setups.

Fit - Mountain

$400

4 Hours

While a fit on a mountain bike is always changing depending on the terrain you’re riding and whether or not you are climbing or descending, it still makes a difference to have a proper riding position at your typical upright riding position. This fit will go one step further with the help of one of our suspension technicians, we will set up your suspension to better fit your riding style and goals for the bike. There may be additional costs for excessive adjustments due to complicated bike setups.

If the Shoe Fits

For maximum power transfer on the road or trail and for exceptional comfort on a spin bike, we recommend clipless cycling shoes and pedals. With stiffer soles and the ability to click into and out of your pedal system easily, cycling shoes make your ride and your workout more efficient, more effective, and more comfortable. Never get stuck in a toe cage again!
